 June 27th - Ribbon Cutting For Aquataine Road Extension

The MRA was requested to join Councilor Pat Saito and additional city staff and business representatives as part of the ribbon cutting ceremony for the extension of Argentia Road from Tenth Line to Ninth Line.  This section is now open to the public and will improve the options for traffic in the area.

June 2016 -Ninth Line Development Community Workshop on Ninth Line Development

The residents of ward 9 and 10 attended a workshop hosted by Councilor Pat Saito, Councilor Sue McFadden and city officials to discuss and present opinions on the development of the land to the west side of Ninth line.  For further details on the project, please see link below.

June 4th 2016 - Fresh Food Drive at Real Canadian Superstore on Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Rd

The MRA will be co-hosting a food drive with Councilor Pat Saito, Eden Food for Change and the Real Canadian Superstore.  The fresh food drive will run from 10 am to 4pm, where we will have a refrigerated truck on site available to accept fresh food donations for meat, cheese, yogurt, butter, Yves – vegetarian meals, refrigerated  juice and eggs. 

May 29th - Local Association Boards Idea Exchange

The Lisgar, Churchill Meadows and Meadowvale Residents' Association boards will meet to share ideas on our communities and discuss working on shared future events. 

May 14th 2016 -Lake Wabukayne Stewardship community BBQ

Come by and say hello as the MRA will be participating in the Lake Wabukayne Stewardship community BBQ May 14th from 11 am to 1pm. There will be displays and activities, free popcorn and BBQ and you will have an opportunity to learn more about the Lake. Lake Wabukayne is located off Inlake Court east of Glen Erin Drive behind Elizabeth Seton School. Stop by our table and say hello and enter in our draw.

May 14th 2016 -West Credit Secondary School Plant and Bake Sale May 14th

Plant and bake sale and family fun day at West Credit Secondary School on May 14th. This is a fun filled day that is put on by the school and the students. Enjoy fresh baked items, wood working, unique and beautiful vegetables and flowers all made by the students. 

February 17, 2016 - Coldest Night of The Year Walk

The MRA attended the event as a team of walkers and raised over $800 for the local charity "The Dam".  The Dam supports and mentors the youth in our area by offering programs and a drop in center at the Meadowvale Town Centre.
